We came here on a Friday evening for dinner. There was free parking attached to the restaurant which was convenient in downtown Hayward. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get seated and order food quite quickly. I got the ala carte chile relleno for ~$6.95. The batter is quite eggy which is different from other chile rellenos that I've had, but it still tasted pretty good. The chili is stuffed with cheese which went well with the sauce. Meanwhile, my friend got the $4.95 cheese quesadilla chicas. It was a simple crispy quesadilla that's filled with melted cheese and topped with bits of salsa and guac. This was actually quite a good deal if you want something tasty but not too big.

Probably one of the cleanest and nicest interiors of any Mexican restaurant I've been to. There's plenty of parking on the street and the parking lot attached to it has several spots as well. The indoors has quite a bit of seating and the service and food are unbelievable. I called in my order and the pick up process was as smooth as can be. We were so hungry we didn't even take pics! We ordered a super shrimp burrito wet and it definitely lived up to the name. I will say, being from New Orleans, I've never found anywhere that has large jumbo quality shrimp like in the south. I can't knock them for it but it did seem the burrito was heavy on all the other toppings and the shrimp was very small and relatively scarce. Overall the burrito was amazing, but I am still holding out for a place that has large jumbo sized shrimp rather than the smaller ones in the Bay Area. The other order was a Carne Asada burrito wet, and from what I heard it was delicious and was rated a 7/10. I'm glad I came across this place and I definitely plan to try them again in the future. Give them a shot!

The food is amazing, considering they have a lot of different types of food to order every day of the week. The ambience is welcoming as well. This is my go-to Mexican restaurant whenever I'm in Hayward.

My fav Mexican restaurant . This is my #1 and I love Mexican food. Been dining here since 1991 with my family and still go regularly. The tacos are the best in town just like their slogan. They are huge, the meats super flavorful and juicy and the tortillas are done right. The chile Colorado is my favorite dinner plate. The chunks of meat are super soft and tender, the sauce is thick and rich. The food is consistent, so is the service. The owners are good people who make you feel like Part of the family. They catered my brothers wedding and let me tell you, the tacos were amazing.
