I can't decide whether I like or love this place just yet. I know for sure that next time I'm hungry near Ceasar Chavez and 710, I will go here first. I need to try the Chile Relleno burrito because today I had the chorizo burrito and it was good but it didn't blow my socks off. The chorizo must be a special blend because I tasted warm spices like cinnamon and clove. It was not spicy but there is a spicy chipotle salsa on the side for that. The tortilla is special, however, in that it is very fresh, randomly blistered, stretchy and smells good. The burrito had a little bit of beans and no filler ingredients besides that. No cheese and no potatoes- just the way I like it. The chorizo burrito just made me want to try their famous chile relleno burrito which I will do soon and will report back.

I had the Azteca with light pinto and I added carne asada. This place has become my favorite burrito place. It's so good my mouth is watering just thinking about the burrito I had two days ago. The flour tortillas is so fresh and delicious and of course the chile relleno with cheese inside is the star. I recommend having it with their pineapple Agua fresca

I absolutely love this place!!!!! The chile relleno burrito with carne asada is the best burrito anywhere if you like chile relleno!! I also tried tried the breakfast burrito is was pretty good too

I've been coming to La Azteca since I can remember! I've always loved this place. It used to be a little hole in the wall with hardly any space to sit - that's always been part of its charm! You grab your Azteca burrito then go next door for pan from El Gallo. It's definitely gotten more popular in resent years so the burritos have gotten smaller and not any cheaper, but damn those homemade tortillas are to die for! Some of the best tortillas you can get in LA.
