This is my go to spot for authentic Mexican tacos. The service is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The fact that this place is always packed with customers should be a sign that Perla's is the place for Mexican comfort food.

My wife and I are always looking for good taco spots. I like crunchy tacos and she digs street tacos. We found Perla's here on Yelp and so we gave it a shot. I got the beef taquitos and a pair of shredded beef crunchy tacos. My wife got al pastor and carne asada tacos. We didn't set our expectations too high because this area is chock full of mediocre taco/burrito spots. They're literally on every corner. We brought our food home and were quite pleasantly surprised. We loved everything we ordered. Their salsas were good too. And then I looked at the receipt and was blown away. We got a two crunchy taco combo, a taquito combo, and a few street tacos and it only came out to $22 and some change. I think we may have found our new taco spot.

Pretty great! $1.75 taco Tuesdays! Lunch can get busy but they are fairly quick with to-go orders. Lots of options and I haven't been let down yet.

Not bad! The salsas were delicious here. I wish it had a self serve salsa bar because it's that good. Ordered their crispy potato tacos, crispy beef tacos, carnitas soft tacos and chicken soft tacos. The tortillas here were soft which I like, but for me the carnitas and chicken tacos were a bit on the dry side. Still good tho. Crispy tacos were better, my favorite was the crispy asada tacos. We finished with the Sopa de albondigas soup. Broth was flavorful but I wish the meat balls were made out of pork instead of beef. Seems like a lot of locals come here, it has a mom and pop sorta vibe. The menu is huge so I'd prob come back and try other things if I'm ever in the area.

If you're in LA, you can throw a baseball and hit a couple a spots like this, super hole in the wall authentic... but you can throw that baseball in mission Viejo and find that , that's what makes this spot so bomb , comfort food Try it out

Really good tacos. We came for taco Tuesday and weren't disappointed. We got the carne asada, lengua fish, chicken and al pastor. From start to finish we enjoyed all the tacos. Even though my wife won't eat it, the lengua was really great. We also thought the sauce on the fish tacos really elevated that one to our favorite. Chips and salsa were also both good and made this place definitely worth a repeat trip.
