The food here is incredible. We ordered wonton soup and were brought a huge bowl that was filled with delicious items. Besides the wonton, there was chicken, pork and shrim, as well as bok choy, carrots and mushrooms. We also recommend the sweet and sour pork and rice

Best Chinese food in the Inland Empire!!! I have ate at this restaurant more times than I care to share. This is the best Chinese food in the Inland Empire. I have been eating here since they opened and have brought everyone I know here and got them hooked on this place too. I order the juicy shanghai dumpling, corn chowder chicken soup, kung pao chicken, house chow mein, pork fried rice, walnut shrimp and so much more. I have tried so many things on this menu but the above are my "Go-to's"...... If you want authentic Chinese that is cooked in a clean environment. This is your place. Also the staff is sweet as can be. They must have all family members working there because they all care and love serving people.

This place never disappoints. My go to place for good Hong Kong style Chinese food. Love that the restaurant is spacious. Good for big groups. Price is relatively cheap for the amount and quality of food. Service is super fast.

Birthday celebration for the hubby turning 50! He loves his dim sum. The service here is always friendly and polite. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. It is pricey but you get quality authentic Chinese food. The restaurant is clean and big enough for a big party. They do takeout if you don't want to eat there. The dim sum is made to order so just be ready to wait for it. Overall, it's a good place for dim sum if you don't want to drive down to LA or OC.

When I think of "authentic" dim sum, the last place you would think of finding such would be in Riverside. But...surprise! surprise ~ Welcome to Big Sky Bistro :) I've been here numerous times: from having dim sum for breakfast or dining in banquet style dinners, this place is truly legit. I know you've probably read all the reviews about how delicious their Shrimp Har Gow was or wonderful their servers were, but do you know my favorite dish of theirs is actually their Salted Fish Fried Rice? If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. I highly recommend it! Next time, skip the coke and order their Iced Lemon Tea. It is exactly like the ones you would get at a H.K. cafe. The restaurant isn't decorated with trendy decor but who needs that when you can enjoy great food? This is hands down, one of my favorite Dim Sum places in the area and trust me, you won't be disappointed! :) #musttry

Big Surprise Bistro for me! I was dropping my daughter back to UC Riverside when we were in search for some Asian soul food. Big Sky Bistro came up on our search. What a surprise and delight. Living in the North OC I have wonderful choice of Asian cuisine. Big Sky offered big flavors that made feel at home. The menu offered some modest array of dim sum plates along with traditional fare. Both the shumai and shrimp dumplings (har gow) were big and plump. The XLB dumplings were good and best when hot. We added a bowl of Wor Wonton soup filled with big wontons, char shiu, Bok Choy and other ingredients. Along with that we had the seafood fried noodles. Everything was very satisfying. We ended with a very cute egg custard bao and mango pudding. Service was attentive and felt like I was with family. The ambience was a bit sterile. In front of their service area they had a large to go set up that took up a prominent space. It felt very cafeteria like. There wasn't any music playing, just the sounds of fellow diners and Cantonese being shouted from the kitchen. This place can really be elevated to a very nice restaurant if they relocated the to go packing area, played some soft music and had a nicer menu presentation. It would rival any Hong Kong style restaurant in Monterey Park. My daughter gladly took the leftovers to her dorm. I'm looking forward in returning to try other menu items. Big Sky Bistro is on University Avenue one city block west of University Village which is very reachable to students of UCR who may want to take a break from dormitory food.
