We stayed at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndum only a few miles away to attend Memorial Service for a Family member. Arabella at the Hawthorne Suites recommended Mama's for their good food, and because of the SIZE of their portions. Arabella was right on target! Mama's fare was delicious. It is under New Ownership, and while it is take out lunch, dinner, and Catering only from our observation (If we are wrong we apologize) and please correct our error in your response. If you are looking for ambiance from a take out restaurant, then might I add their counter was nicely constructed and solid, (rolling eyes). Their sauce, it was not gravy, was a tasty, fresh tomato sauce which tasted homemade. My spaghetti, meat balls, and sausage tasted great. When I asked for them to add FRESH broccoli, they not only had fresh broccoli, but were happy to add it for a small up charge. My wife's Lemon Chicken Piccata with Capellini was a superior tasting dish as well. Mama's portions are large to extra large depending upon your age. Yes, if you are lucky, as you age your appetite will decrease which makes it easier on your older bones, and your bodies diminished ability to add muscle. lol! This is a shame because carrying your dinners will be work as they are not light weight at all. Mama's was a great choice for our dinner after driving all day (9 hours). We recommend it for your next eat-in lunch or dinner because we feel you will not be disappointed.

Past by this place numerous times and read the reviews. Finally had the opportunity to stop in. This appears to be more of a takeout type place, but they do have a small dining room. They were quick to get us seated and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly staff. Typical pizza/Italian menu. The soup was tasty as well as the fresh garlic knots. Meatballs were delicious as was the red sauce. I had the baked ziti Bolognese and it was awesome. I will be back to try the pizza and other offerings.

It's a local place..trying find replacement for Scottos pizza which has Now closed ..they had best grandma pizza ..extra Thin & crispy So figured try them out..I ordered the pie..it was pretty good..but not thin..this is more like a Sicilian pizza ..doughy & thick .., just not my prefer but ingredients an overall was good Return factor: maybe try something else

Wow, I am really impressed by the pizza and wings from this place. I have been passing this place for years and have always been loyal to a local spot but they closed down and fortunately for me this spot was close and had great reviews. I am a pizza snob and this went above and beyond. The pizza was perfectly cooked and the char on the crust and the light crispy dough was a work of art. The best part about it was the wings, CRISPY, nice heat. I have one complaint and this is most likely a volume or rushing issue, 12 of my wings were perfect. The other 12 were cooked a little less and they were soggy. Other than that this place is 5 star. I will be back!! The chicken bacon ranch pizza is to die for. This is my new spot!!!

My friend and I wanted to meet up this weekend and were looking for a halfway point. We saw this restaurant and since we both love Italian food, wanted to give it a try! The employees that we interacted with were super friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating Christmas in July and we brought in gifts and an older woman (I assume Mama herself!) took us to a nice seating area where we could talk and we pretty much had the whole dining room to ourselves! We were given garlic salt rolls for the table and they tasted delicious! My friend ordered the carbonara pasta and I ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Everything was absolutely delicious. There was also a young female employee (I'm thinking maybe Mama's Granddaughter?) and she was super sweet and friendly! She took our picture for us (at multiple different angles!) and complimented our outfits, she was the sweetest! This was a lovely restaurant and experience!
