When I first touched lips with these tacos my mouth, my breath, and my teeth were all blessed with a sensation I hadn't felt since 97'. The last time there was a truck like this around I was going to a psych ward so I was unable to be blessed with this Latino blast. Now I'm a free psychotic man who can get these tacos whenever he wants! I would recommend that someone to make their way down here and grab something to eat.

This place has become my favorite place in the neighborhood. Ambiance The location is very nice. Lights and music are never overwhelming. It's a great place for a quick bite or a dinner with friends. My favorite place to sit is the booth. Service The staff is very pleasant and attentive. I have gone several times time in person and everyone is always so friendly. Food I absolutely love the food here. My absolute favorite thing to order is the tostones with guac and chicharron. It's pure perfection. It can really turn a bad day into a good one. I've had several arepas and their meat is always tender and flavorful. Drinks The sangrias are great for several reasons. 1. They are not loaded with sugar. I had half a pitcher and no hangover the next day. At first I thought it was watered down when I had the first sip. Trust me, it is not!! I was super buzzed in the most pleasant way when I left and got up for work the next day just fine. 2. The price point is amazing for a pitcher of Sangria that was enough for two people to serve themselves several times. 3. They do not use ice to take up space in the pitcher. 4. They have their own passion fruit sangria. So perfect. Overall, I love this place so much.

These arepas were pricey, but justifiable after seeing the size of these things. The place had friendly service. Their menu was so extensive, given the option to mix and match toppings and the type of arepa. I personally didn't enjoy the Arepa de Queso given how filled with cheese they were. It was like eating a whole mozzarella. But the Corn Arepa though, is a must-try in my book! I am biased towards corn flavored things, but the fragrant sweetness really pairs well with the cake thickness and saltiness of whatever topping you choose to add. I would come again to explore more arepa options!

Super delicious food! We tried the empanada trio and the corn arepas! The only note I would have is that as a first time customer, I wish there were options within the menu to add lettuce, tomatoes etc. to the arepa. I didn't see it listed, but either way, I loved it! Sauces were also sooooooo good!

Visited Arepa Lady on a NYC food crawl and it was definitely worth he trip from Manhattan even on a rainy day. We got various things to share but what definitely stood out was the veggie arepa and the chorizo. The veggie arepa was the perfect combo of charred veggies and paired with a pillowy corn arepa. I had never had an arepa before and was very amazed! I also loved their chorizo which was very juicy and well spiced. Next time I'm in Jackson Heights, I would love to have their chorizo arepa! All of the items were delicious especially if you love sweet corn flour. Everything tasted homemade and at affordable prices. I had never had arepas before and this was the best introduction! Also get their flan! It is to die for and perfectly decadent.
