It's been almost 3 years since I posted my first review for this wonderful restaurant. The food is CONSISTENTLY amazing and their customer service is ALWAYS excellent! I order to go almost every weekend and I look forward to it sooo much! The portion is huge so I can always make 1.5 meals out of it. Thank you very much for serving our community - I'm a big fan!!!

Stopped for lunch one afternoon while I was in the area. A small eatery with a basic traditional interior. Friendly kind service, I was greeted within a minute of walking in and seated shortly after. After going over the menu, I opted for hummus to start with a traditional green tea. Food was freshly made to order. The Hummus was very good, with warm pita, a delicious dish by itself. Robust flavor and rich, fresh herbs and olive oil, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The green tea was light, but good. I ordered a bowl of Lentil soup after my start and it was a hearty serving and a nice tangy, flavorful bowl that was filling and good. I saw Baklava on the dessert page and had to get a piece to finish with my tea. The pastry was very good and a nice rich almond flavor throughout, sticky crispy chewy and tasty. 3.5 Stars All in all, a decent meal and a fair value and worth a visit. Rounded up for the really good Hummus. 00962

Omgg such a gem! Love the booths. We went on a Saturday night most table were full. Waiter greeted us as we walked in and had us sit in one of the tables in the center. We got menus and water served quickly. Ordered falafel pita wrap and a vegetarian plate. Everything was delicious!! Way delighted by the freshness of the falafel. The rice was nicely spiced and authentic middle eastern dolmas.. love this place. Will be coming back everytime I'm visiting the area: we didn't have time to take photos of the food, but let me tell you, it was meticulously presented both on the plate and pita wrap. they could use a light dimmer to create a little vibe. ;)

We popped in after a hike out at Joshua Tree, looking for a late lunch. The friendly staff let us sit where we wanted and we quickly ordered drinks and falafel as an appetizer. My house made lemon mint drink completely hit the spot --it was like a lemonade blended with ice and fresh mint. The falafel appetizer came with six balls, wonderfully seasoned with tahini drizzled on top. We split the kofta pita and the gyro shawarma pita. Both were delicious, though I was not as sharing with the kofta as I should have been, as I loved how it was spiced and didn't want to share :) Lots of cucumber and tomato in the pita as well. Our server also brought us a couple of sauces to try with the pitas, which were a nice touch. I was impressed to see a few other tables eating when we came in, and they also did a bit of takeout orders while we were there--around 3:30 on a Monday, so not a typical busy time for a restaurant. The word is definitely out about the food. Unfortunately we inhaled the food so no pictures! If you are in the area this is a great stop for a well-made Mediterranean meal.

Chicken shwarma and kofta kabob plates were sizeable, flavorful, and delicious, especially the hummus, which was so creamy and and savory. Came with pita bread, salad, and rice (+ lots of sumac!) Nice hot black and mint teas as accompaniment.
