The smoked barbecue here is legit. Don't expect anything special from the ambience, but you can grab a nice tri-tip sandwich and some smoked sausage links and eat outside on the little picnic table. The owner is super chill and if you're lucky you might end up getting some free samples, overall a good spot to get a unique smoked tri-tip sandwich with some hot Fritos on it. This is a one-man show so as long as you were Vibin with the owner, then you're good, but if not go somewhere else. The soup specials are pretty good too specially the clam chowder so I recommend that if it's on the menu.

Best tri tip sando in Salinas/Prunedale. Absolutely worth the stop. Treat yourself to lunch and dinner....one sandwich is big enough for both.

The tri-tip sandwich is more than enough for one person-- you definitely can share it or save the other half for later! The chili was superb! And the service was 5!
